Why study GCSEs?
Having five or more GCSEs, including English and Maths, significantly improves your chances of progressing into:
- A Levels or vocational training
- University or higher education
- Employment or apprenticeships.
Adults often choose to study GCSEs to boost their CV, access new job opportunities, or explore a subject of personal interest.
College is often the best chance students have to achieve these vital qualifications. Our provision is structured for success, offering specialist support not typically available in schools.
One step on your journey
Many learners go on to study A Levels, T Levels, or vocational courses with us, or enter employment with stronger qualifications behind them. Whether you’re a returning adult learner or a school leaver aiming to move forward, we’ll help you get where you need to go.
GCSE Maths and English are the single most important qualifications for academic and career progression. Without a Grade 4:
- Progression to Level 3 vocational courses (e.g., T Levels, BTEC Diplomas) is severely limited.
- Access to Advanced Apprenticeships is blocked.
- Entry to University is restricted, as most institutions require a minimum Grade 4.
