Each year, the UCS College Group Student Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements, dedication and positive contributions of our students across the College Group.
We invite staff to nominate students who have gone above and beyond in their studies, personal development, skills and contribution to College life. From exceptional academic performance to making a real difference within the student community, these awards recognise the individuals who truly stand out.

Award Categories
Please review the award categories below and submit your nominations to help us celebrate the incredible talent, commitment and achievements of our students.
Award criteria
Academic Achievement Award
This award will be presented to individual students who have achieved or are predicted to achieve high grades.
These students will have consistently achieved high grades across their programme of study.
My College Advantage Award
This award will be presented to students who have excelled in one or more area of the My College Advantage.
They will have consistently applied themselves to excel in the areas of personal development and behaviour and attitudes.
Skills Award
This award will be presented to individual students who can demonstrate they have gone above and beyond the requirements of their course to develop skills and behaviours to help them succeed in their chosen career.
These students may have excelled in a work or industry placement.
Student of the Year
This award will be awarded to individual students who have consistently gone over and above in all aspects of their programme.
This will include high attendance, contribution to course and college, supporting other students and a progression to a positive destination.
Principal’s Prize
This will be awarded to the student who has made an individual outstanding contribution to their College.
Student Union Award
This award will be nominated by and awarded to the student who has made a significant contribution to the student experience at their College.
