Staff and students across UCS College Group have come together to support Wear It Pink and Wear It Yellow days, bringing a splash of colour to campuses while helping to raise awareness and show support for important causes.
Colleagues and students embraced the opportunity to wear pink and yellow, taking part in the activities and showing their support for the campaigns. The events provided an opportunity for the college community to come together, demonstrate solidarity and help shine a light on causes that affect individuals, families and communities.
Wear It Pink is held in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, helping to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support. Wear It Yellow encourages people to support Young Minds and its work championing the mental health and wellbeing of young people.
The enthusiasm and participation of staff and students across the Group demonstrated the importance of coming together, supporting one another and making a positive contribution beyond the classroom.
It was fantastic to see our staff and students getting involved and showing their support. Days like these are a great reminder of the difference we can make when we come together as a college community. Whether through wearing a splash of colour, taking part in activities or helping to raise awareness, every contribution matters.
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and generosity shown by everyone who got involved and helped make these campaigns visible across our colleges.
