Mulberry Hosts First Employer Networking Breakfast for UCS College Group

📆 Thursday 17 September

UCS College Group has successfully launched its first employer networking breakfast hosted at the Somerset site of employer partner, Mulberry, marking the start of a new initiative aimed at strengthening connections between businesses and supporting workforce development across the region.

Bringing together employers from a range of sectors, the breakfast focused on navigating recruitment incentives, with attendees exploring apprenticeship employer grants, government funding opportunities, workforce planning strategies and recruitment solutions designed to help organisations attract, develop and retain skilled talent.

As well as gaining valuable insights from industry specialists, guests had the opportunity to network with fellow professionals and enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Mulberry factory, seeing first-hand how the company’s iconic handbags are made.

The networking breakfast series has been created to showcase UCS College Group’s employer partners while providing a neutral environment in which businesses can share best practice, explore common challenges and identify opportunities for collaboration. The next event is scheduled for January, with a venue in the Street/Glastonbury area to be confirmed.

Local employers are encouraged to register their interest in attending future breakfasts to learn more about the support available to their organisation, connect with fellow business leaders, and hear from experts on workforce development and recruitment opportunities.
