Four consecutive years of improvement and exceptional high grades!
Students at Bridgwater College are celebrating outstanding results today with a 100% pass rate in 96% of subjects.
Across 29 A Levels subjects, 41% of students achieved high grades (A*–B) with record achievements in several subjects. Notably, Sociology, French and Further Maths gained 71%, 100% and 80% high grades respectively.
T Level students did exceptionally well with 56% achieving high grades.
Standout achievements were also gained in BTECs, with a 100% pass rate with high grades across a range of subjects including Sport and Exercise Science, Musical Theatre and Advanced Manufacturing.
It’s simply breathtaking. A Level results have improved for the fourth year in a row, with 68% of the grades being A*-C. In our other departments, the results have been superb.

I achieved A,A,C, which I’m more than happy with, especially getting an A in Law. I’ll be going to University of Bristol to continue studying Law. A huge highlight for me was Karen, our A Level teacher, who was amazing.
The American exchange trip was also a huge personal and learning experience for me.

Destinations include top universities and higher/degree apprenticeships with leading employers. Students will progress to top class universities such as Exeter to study Neuroscience and Maths and Bristol to study Law, others have secured a place on Degree Apprenticeships such as Police Constable Apprenticeships with Avon and Somerset Police.
Bridgwater College is part of UCS College Group and offers a range of A Levels, T Levels, technical and professional courses. The College works in partnership with local employers, the council and community organisations to develop the skills needed in sectors such as Advanced Manufacturing, Health and Performing Arts.
