Leading barbers share expertise, career journeys and live demonstrations during Industry Day
Barbering students at Strode College recently gained valuable insight into the industry during a dedicated Barbering Industry Day, where leading professionals visited the college to deliver live demonstrations, share their expertise and discuss their career journeys.
The college was proud to welcome industry guests from 95 Grooming & Streetwear, Hewlett and Holdsworth, and Luxe Barbering. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to observe advanced techniques, learn about real-world expectations and engage directly with experienced barbers who are actively shaping the sector. Reflecting on their relationship with Strode College, Hewlett and Holdsworth said:
It’s where part of our journey began. Training here and building great relationships with the teachers has meant a lot to us, so coming back each year to give back is special. It’s inspiring to see the upcoming talent and show them what’s possible when you pursue something you genuinely love.
